NCC is an integral part of discipline, leadership and training. Our school has a very good team of leaders who train the cadets. All Students of Class 8 will be trained for selection to the school NCC Troop. Our NCC troop comes under 2(TN) Air Sqn(Fly) NCC, Coimbatore.
We follow the syllabus prepared by the NCC Directorate, New Delhi for Junior Division Air Wing NCC. Activities such as flying, range firing, aero modeling and social service are the fields in which the cadets are trained. After the training the cadets come out as well disciplined and good citizens of our country. This training helps them to enroll themselves as officers in armed forces in the future. It also helps them to excel in whatever field they choose and to cultivate leadership qualities in them. Parents are requested to encourage their wards to enroll as cadets in the NCC.

It aims to promote and sustain all literary related domains such as book reading, recitation, impromptu speaking, story telling, creative writing, debates, picture dictation, acrostic poems, limericks, slogan writing, etc. The theme for the Literary Club for the year 2021-2022 is “BEYOND THE PAGES”.
“Mathematics is the Queen of all Sciences.”
Just the way physical exercise improves or builds the muscles; Math improves the mental faculty of young minds. The Club develops their explorative, creative and inventive talents. It provides an opportunity for students to translate theory into practice and stimulates active participation. Learning by doing and learning by living are two important factors of learning. Science Club is the place where all the co-curricular activities are organized. Through the Science club, students get an opportunity to extra learning in addition to their course content. The modern trend in teaching of Science is to emphasis students’ investigation activity as an integral part of instructional process. Here in Stanes School, we have developed many programs through the Science Clubs at various levels, in an attempt to investigate inquiry with Science instructions and to develop students’ inquiry skills. As a part of our club activities students with a lot of enthusiasm take part in making still-models, working models, charts and posters to present their ideas.
Home Science activity is an important part of our School curriculum. It educates the learners for “Better Living” by imparting the education pertaining to person, home, family and resources. To understand the science behind making our home beautiful and people in it healthy, the school is offering Home Science Club for the students of grades V to XII.
The club deals with promotion and preservation of general health matters, understanding the dietary needs of individuals, importance of balanced diets, enhance their culinary skills along with basics of hospitality. General hygiene, sewing, embroidery, rangoli, flower arrangement, presentation of food prepared, table layout, etc. are few other areas that are focused upon. Apart from being regularly involved in hospitality during different school events, cookery competitions, learning new recipes from different States of India and abroad are some of the activities taken up by the club. The club equips the learners with the knowledge and skills that are of great importance now and in the future.
‘Earth loves you, love it back…’
‘Eco’ comes from the Latin root ‘oeco’, meaning ‘house hold’. It is often used to mean ‘habitat’, ‘home’ or ‘Earth’. So, ‘Eco - friendly’ simply means Earth – friendly.
Considering the extent to which human beings have caused damage to the environment, Eco clubs have become the need of the hour for sustainable management of resources and to ensure responsible actions by young individuals.
