CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
A Plethora of activities conducted in the school helps students to discover their latest talent. These go a long way in building confidence and Self-discipline. Besides imparting skills to handle competitive situations. Students evolve as individuals and learn to work as a team. Besides expanding horizons, activities encourage students to be more responsible and productive citizens.
At Stanes school (ICSE/ISC) Co-curricular activities play an integral part in holistic development of a child.
The school event calendar comprises of theme based months seeking to integrate learning. These incorporate interesting activities like, quizzes, Dramatics. Debates, Creative Writing, Elocution. Declamation contests, Story writing competition, Art & Craft, Creative drawing, Singing competition, Folk and cultural dance, Photography, Exhibition, Chess tournaments, Street plays and Rangoli.
Co-curricular activities are concluded in Stanes school juniors, Interschool senior boys & girls.
BRITISH COUNCIL
Students of the school have been undergoing training in English Language Tests, conducted by the British Council for the past 6 years. Most of the students who have undertaken these exams have come out with flying colours. These tests are conducted according to the age group and aptitude of the students.
British Council also offers the Olympiad exams in English, Mathematics,

National Cyber Olympiad
International Mathematics Olympiad
International Company Secretaries Olympiad.
National Science Olympiad
General Knowledge Olympiad
Parents are requested to encourage their wards to undertake these tests.
Sports Education compliments academic learning as it develops the overall personality of the students. At Stanes School, along with academics, sports are also given utmost importance. Stanes has an infrastructural facilities like football ground, hockey field, basket ball court, badminton court, table tennis board and 400 metres athletic track where students are trained by specialist teachers.
Our team of well qualified coaches train the students with a scientific approach in various sports activities such as sprint events, middle distance, long distance, throws and jumps. Stanes School students have represented the school in district, state and national level and have earned laurels for school.
SOCIALLY USEFUL PRODUCTIVE WORK
SUPW is an ancillary, but mandatory part of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. It helps in increased sense of social responsibility and provides an opportunity to apply academic learning to real human needs. Students are made socially conscious and prepared to face life.
In Stanes School, children participate in environmental and cleanliness programme which involves:
- Simple hand weaving or knitting, stitching
- Making waste paper baskets, dustbins
- First aid boxes , Candle making
- Converting waste into wealth
