Children should be involved in their own learning through well-planned experiences that help them develop competence, agency, emotional attachment and self-worth.

Activity-based Learning or ABL is the process of learning by doing. Whilst activity-based learning encourages kids to take responsibility for their own learning experience, group-based activity work also helps kids develop teamwork and social skills. These skills will later prove essential to their work and social life.

Here at Stanes Nursery, Activity based learning is achieved broadly in three ways namely Exploration, Experimentation and Expression.
