Green Campus

Where Little Hands Discover the Joy of Nature

At Stanes Nursery, nature is part of everyday learning. Our green campus gives children the opportunity to explore, observe and care for the world around them. With mature trees, flowering plants, gardens and open spaces, children experience the beauty of nature as they learn and play.

Nature All Around Us

Our campus is surrounded by trees, plants and flowering gardens that create a cool, peaceful and welcoming environment for children.

The greenery provides natural spaces where children can observe plants, notice seasonal changes and enjoy the simple beauty of the outdoors.

Learning From Nature

Children learn best when they can see, touch and experience things for themselves. Our green campus provides many opportunities for children to discover nature through observation and hands-on experiences.

Little Explorers, Big Discoveries

A flower, a leaf, a seed or a growing plant can become an opportunity to learn. Children are encouraged to look closely, ask questions and discover how plants grow and change. These simple experiences help children develop curiosity, observation skills and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Caring for Our Green Campus

Our dedicated gardeners play an important role in keeping the campus green, beautiful and welcoming. They care for the plants, trees and gardens throughout the year and also support children’s outdoor gardening experiences.

Through these everyday interactions, children learn to:

Care – Learning to look after plants and living things.

Explore – Discovering leaves, flowers, seeds and the changing seasons.

Respect – Developing an appreciation for nature and our environment.

A Green Space for Growing Minds

A green campus offers more than a beautiful setting. It gives children space to breathe, explore, wonder and learn. At Stanes Nursery, we believe that growing up close to nature helps children develop curiosity, responsibility and a lasting love for the world around them.
