Stanes School ICSE/ISC, affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), was established in the year 2012. Stanes School ICSE/ISC, a co-education institution educates and moulds 816 students from classes 1 to 12.
Four batches of students have successfully completed the ICSE – Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Grade 10) and two batches of the ISC – Indian School Certificate Examinations (Grade 12). Our teaching faculty consists of 41 teachers trained for the ICSE/ISC curriculum. The School has a well equipped Library, laboratories for Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, an on campus nurse and a dispensary.
Stanes School has a Sports Complex to accommodate around 1000 people and a mini-auditorium to accommodate around 150 people. Stanes School is proud to have a 400 metre athletic track, a football ground, hockey field, cricket field, two volleyball courts and 3 basketball indoor and outdoor courts.
The students are encouraged to play indoor games like table tennis, badminton , Chess and other board games in the school premises. Over the years, several students from Stanes ICSE/ISC have qualified in the regional ICSE meets (conducted by ASISC) and have moved into the National level competition.
Besides sports activities, we encourage various co-curricular activities like painting, creative writing art and craft, quiz, music, dance, dramatics and debates. Our students also participate in the IIMUN - Indian International Model United Nations conferences. Our students are a part of the South zone Scouts, Guides and cubs unit. One of our scout students was nominated for the Governors’ Award.
Robotics classes, Olympiad Examinations and British Council examinations are also conducted in our school.
